Our client, a leading provider of environmental consulting and waste management solutions, is seeking a dedicated Remote Environmental Services Technician to join their innovative team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to critical environmental initiatives from the comfort of your home office. You will be responsible for remotely monitoring and managing environmental data, coordinating with field teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and assisting in the development of environmental management plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental science principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with various data management and communication platforms.
Key responsibilities include analyzing environmental monitoring data (e.g., air quality, water quality, soil samples), preparing detailed reports and documentation, and maintaining accurate records. You will serve as a liaison between clients, field personnel, and regulatory agencies, providing technical support and guidance. Experience with environmental software, GIS mapping, and data visualization tools is highly desirable. A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field is required, along with at least 2-3 years of experience in environmental monitoring, compliance, or waste management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., EPA guidelines) is a plus.
