Our client, a prestigious event design and management firm known for creating unforgettable experiences, is actively seeking a talented and creative Lead Event Planner to join their fully remote team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to conceptualize, design, and manage a wide array of high-impact events, including corporate functions, luxury weddings, and large-scale festivals, all from a remote location. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a passion for innovation, and a proven ability to execute flawless events from conception to completion. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of event planning, including client consultations, budget development and management, vendor sourcing and negotiation, theme and concept development, and on-site execution oversight (which may involve travel). Key responsibilities include creating detailed event timelines, managing RSVPs and guest lists, coordinating logistics with venues and suppliers, and ensuring all event elements align with client vision and objectives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are paramount, as you will be building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Experience with event design software and project management tools is highly beneficial. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and autonomous work environment. You will be responsible for ensuring every event is executed to the highest standards, delivering exceptional client satisfaction. - Manage client relationships, understand their vision, and translate it into successful event designs.
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and suppliers.
- Create detailed event plans, timelines, and floor plans.
- Oversee event logistics, including scheduling, staffing, catering, and entertainment.
- Develop creative event themes, dcor, and entertainment concepts.
- Ensure all events comply with safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Manage on-site event execution, potentially requiring travel.
- Conduct post-event analysis and client debriefings to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in event planning and management.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing a variety of events.
- Excellent understanding of event logistics, budgeting, and vendor negotiation.
- Strong creative and design sensibilities.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
- Willingness to travel as needed for on-site event execution.
