Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the structural design and analysis for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and mentor a team of structural engineers, providing technical oversight and guidance.
  • Perform complex structural calculations and simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, Revit).
  • Develop innovative and cost-effective structural design solutions.
  • Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, clients, project managers, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct site visits and structural investigations as needed (may require occasional travel).
  • Ensure designs comply with all applicable building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Review shop drawings and respond to construction-related inquiries.
  • Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering technology and materials.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • PE license required; SE license strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in structural engineering design.
  • Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and projects.
  • Expertise in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and BIM tools (e.g., Revit Structure).
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE) and material design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong project management and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote team environment.
