Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and components for industrial automation and robotics.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software for detailed design, modeling, and drafting.
  • Perform engineering analysis, including FEA and CFD, to validate designs and predict performance.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mechanical components and systems.
  • Oversee the prototyping and fabrication processes, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and long-term reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with electrical and software components.
  • Mentor and guide junior mechanical engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical engineering challenges.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, materials, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading complex mechanical engineering projects from concept to production.
  • Expertise in advanced CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
  • Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, kinematics, and machine design.
