- Lead the design, development, and implementation of optimized industrial processes and systems across multiple sites, ensuring seamless remote collaboration.
- Analyze existing operational workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to foster a culture of operational excellence.
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating advanced automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 technologies into manufacturing processes.
- Create detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and simulation models.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot projects for new technologies and process innovations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and project teams, providing technical expertise and leadership.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations departments to translate new product designs into efficient, scalable production processes.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish robust monitoring systems to track process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management and stakeholders through virtual channels.
- Ensure all process designs adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, and manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred), and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional projects with significant ROI.
- Extensive experience with process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- In-depth knowledge of automation technologies, robotics, and Industry 4.0 concepts.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Experience in guiding and mentoring engineering teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US and comfortable working in a fully remote environment.
