Job Description

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Educational Content Developer to join their innovative team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating engaging and effective educational materials for diverse learners across various platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and a passion for creating impactful learning experiences. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to produce high-quality educational content.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop comprehensive educational curricula and learning materials, including lesson plans, presentations, assessments, and interactive exercises.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
  • Develop engaging multimedia content, including videos, animations, simulations, and e-learning modules.
  • Write and edit educational content for clarity, accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness.
  • Design and implement effective assessment strategies to measure learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and materials, making data-driven revisions.
  • Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in educational technology, instructional design, and online learning.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior content developers and instructional designers.
  • Ensure all content adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Review and revise existing educational materials to maintain relevance and improve efficacy.
  • Contribute to the development of content strategy and learning frameworks.
  • Work collaboratively within a hybrid team environment, effectively communicating progress and challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational content development or instructional design.
  • Proven expertise in applying adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
  • Experience developing a variety of educational content, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning formats.
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts from diverse fields.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, effective in a hybrid work setting.
  • Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., video editing, graphic design) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
