Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior Educational Content Developer to join their innovative team. - Develop engaging multimedia content, including videos, animations, simulations, and e-learning modules.
- Write and edit educational content for clarity, accuracy, and pedagogical effectiveness.
- Design and implement effective assessment strategies to measure learning outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and materials, making data-driven revisions.
- Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
- Stay current with trends and best practices in educational technology, instructional design, and online learning.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior content developers and instructional designers.
- Ensure all content adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Review and revise existing educational materials to maintain relevance and improve efficacy.
- Contribute to the development of content strategy and learning frameworks.
- Work collaboratively within a hybrid team environment, effectively communicating progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational content development or instructional design.
- Proven expertise in applying adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Experience developing a variety of educational content, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and blended learning formats.
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and content management systems (CMS).
- Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts from diverse fields.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, effective in a hybrid work setting.
- Experience with multimedia development tools (e.g., video editing, graphic design) is a plus.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
