Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of engaging and effective online courses and curriculum materials across various disciplines.
  • Oversee the entire curriculum development lifecycle, from needs assessment and instructional design to content creation, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), faculty, and instructional designers to ensure academic rigor and alignment with learning objectives.
  • Develop innovative instructional strategies and learning activities that leverage digital technologies and promote active learning.
  • Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to a team of curriculum developers and instructional designers.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in online education, instructional design, and educational technology.
  • Ensure all curriculum materials are accessible, inclusive, and meet accreditation standards.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of online courses through student feedback, performance data, and learning analytics.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of institutional policies and procedures related to online curriculum development.
  • Champion best practices in online pedagogy and digital learning environments.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development, with a significant focus on online learning environments.
  • Proven experience in leading curriculum development projects and managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies (LMS, LTI).
  • Proficiency with course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia development.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative setting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with learning analytics and data-driven decision-making in education.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful online course designs is highly desirable.
