- Develop innovative instructional strategies and learning activities that leverage digital technologies and promote active learning.
- Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and feedback to a team of curriculum developers and instructional designers.
- Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in online education, instructional design, and educational technology.
- Ensure all curriculum materials are accessible, inclusive, and meet accreditation standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of online courses through student feedback, performance data, and learning analytics.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of institutional policies and procedures related to online curriculum development.
- Champion best practices in online pedagogy and digital learning environments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development, with a significant focus on online learning environments.
- Proven experience in leading curriculum development projects and managing teams.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies (LMS, LTI).
- Proficiency with course authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and multimedia development.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative setting with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with learning analytics and data-driven decision-making in education.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- A strong portfolio showcasing successful online course designs is highly desirable.
