Remote Human Resources Manager

Our client is actively seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to spearhead their HR operations entirely remotely. This is a unique opportunity to build and manage a thriving HR function from the ground up within a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company's goals and values. Responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and HR policy development. As a remote-first role, you will leverage technology and modern communication tools to foster a connected and engaged workforce, irrespective of geographical location. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and productive work environment through effective HR practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills, adept at navigating complex employee issues and driving organizational change. Key duties include:
  • Developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy to support business objectives.
  • Overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
  • Managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
  • Designing and administering competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Implementing performance management systems and fostering a culture of continuous feedback.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Leading initiatives focused on employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Providing guidance and support to leadership on HR-related matters.
  • Utilizing HRIS systems for efficient data management and reporting.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree and SHRM/HRCI certification being highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience is required, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. Proven experience in a fully remote work environment is essential. You must possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, coupled with strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities. Demonstrable experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms is crucial.
