Our client, a prominent insurance organization, is seeking an accomplished Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the US. You will play a crucial role in performing complex actuarial analyses, developing pricing models, and assessing risk for a variety of insurance products. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of insurance data to support pricing, reserving, and financial forecasting.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain pricing models for new and existing insurance products.
  • Perform experience studies and analyze trends in claims, policyholder behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of risk management strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and present findings to management and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT and data science teams to enhance data quality and analytical capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in actuarial science.
  • Mentor junior actuarial staff and contribute to their professional development.
  • Support product development teams with actuarial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant actuarial standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Progress towards or completion of actuarial exams (ASA, FSA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years of actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Prophet, GGY Axis).
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and actuarial principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work independently in a remote environment.
