Our client, a rapidly expanding global organization, is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Operations Director to lead strategic planning initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while making a significant impact on operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic operational plans, optimizing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring the alignment of operations with the company's overarching business objectives. - Collaborating closely with executive leadership and department heads to ensure operational plans are integrated and effectively communicated.
- Leading and mentoring a team of operational managers and specialists.
- Managing budgets and resources allocated to strategic operational projects.
- Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed operational changes.
- Staying abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technological advancements in operations management.
- Developing and implementing standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.
- Facilitating effective communication and coordination among diverse stakeholder groups, both internal and external.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in operations management, strategic planning, or a related leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing complex operational strategies that have driven significant business improvements.
- Extensive experience in process optimization, project management, and change management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead effectively in a fully remote environment.
- Experience in global operations or supply chain management is a significant plus.
