Our client, a forward-thinking global organization, is seeking a visionary Director of Strategic Planning to join their executive leadership team on a fully remote basis. This pivotal role will be responsible for shaping the company's long-term vision, developing comprehensive strategic plans, and driving initiatives that foster sustainable growth and competitive advantage. You will work closely with C-suite executives, cross-functional leaders, and external partners to identify market opportunities, assess risks, and translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps. As a remote leader, you will leverage your analytical prowess, exceptional communication skills, and deep understanding of market dynamics to guide the organization's future direction from anywhere in the US.

- Develop financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Drive the execution of strategic plans by working closely with functional leaders across the organization.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions, workshops, and retreats for the executive team and key stakeholders.
- Communicate the company's strategic vision and plans effectively to internal and external audiences.
- Identify and assess potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop frameworks for evaluating new business opportunities and market entry strategies.
- Mentor and guide a team of strategic planning professionals.
- Stay abreast of emerging business models, technologies, and global economic shifts.
- MBA or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, business development, or a related field, preferably in a senior leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing complex strategic plans in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive change across an organization.
- Proficiency in market research methodologies and data analysis tools.
- Experience in leading remote teams and fostering a collaborative virtual work environment.
