Senior Clinical Social Worker (Remote)

Our client, a leading provider of mental health services, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Clinical Social Worker to join their fully remote team. This role is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health support and counseling to individuals and families facing various challenges. You will be instrumental in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions. As a Senior Clinical Social Worker, you will work independently and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care. You will utilize your expertise to empower clients, enhance their coping mechanisms, and improve their overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
  • Develop individualized, client-centered treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to address a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and workshops on relevant mental health topics.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to coordinate client care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records in accordance with agency policies and legal requirements.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and connect them with community resources and support services.
  • Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and ethical standards in clinical social work.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior social work staff, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or equivalent licensure in their state of practice.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-master's clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and conducting therapy remotely.
  • Excellent assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Strong understanding of human behavior and psychosocial development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence.
