Our client, a leading provider of community-based mental health services, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Clinical Social Worker to join their dedicated team in Sacramento, California . This role involves providing comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals and families facing various mental health challenges. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide individual and group therapy, and facilitate case management services. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep understanding of social work principles, and a commitment to client-centered care. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic support for our clients. This is an essential role in strengthening our community's well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress.
  • Facilitate case management services, connecting clients with community resources and support systems.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with agency and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the healthcare system and community.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • Stay current with best practices and professional development in social work and mental health.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in California.
  • Minimum of 5 years of post-MSW clinical experience in mental health settings.
  • Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).
  • Experience with diverse populations and cultural competency.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Knowledge of community resources and referral networks.
  • Experience working within a healthcare team and collaborating with other professionals.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and professional development.
