Remote Clinical Social Worker - Mental Health Specialist

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy via secure video conferencing platforms.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to ensure holistic client care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and team meetings to enhance professional development and service quality.
  • Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and teletherapy.
  • Advocate for client needs and connect them with community resources as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current and unrestricted LCSW license in at least one US state (licensure in multiple states is a strong asset).
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health settings.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, etc.
  • Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
  • Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment approaches.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport effectively via virtual platforms.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • A private, secure home office environment with reliable high-speed internet access is required.
  • Commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively in a remote setting.
