Our client is launching an exciting initiative to build the next generation of skilled professionals and is seeking a dedicated and innovative Apprenticeship Program Manager to lead this effort entirely remotely. This is a unique opportunity to shape and scale a comprehensive apprenticeship program from the ground up, impacting individuals and industries across the nation.
As the Apprenticeship Program Manager, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the apprenticeship lifecycle. This includes developing curriculum frameworks in collaboration with industry partners, establishing robust recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent, and managing the onboarding and ongoing support of apprentices. You will also play a crucial role in fostering relationships with educational institutions, training providers, and corporate sponsors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the company's apprenticeship programs, aligning with business goals and workforce development needs.
- Design and curate high-quality, engaging training curricula and learning pathways in collaboration with subject matter experts and external partners.
- Establish and manage partnerships with vocational schools, community colleges, and industry associations to enhance program offerings and reach.
- Implement effective recruitment and selection processes to attract a diverse pool of candidates, ensuring equitable access to opportunities.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new apprentices, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles and training.
- Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and support to apprentices throughout their program duration.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program enrollment, completion rates, skill development, and employer satisfaction.
- Stay current with best practices, government regulations, and industry trends in apprenticeship and workforce development.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among apprentices, mentors, managers, and external stakeholders in a virtual environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in program management, workforce development, or a related field, with specific experience in designing or managing apprenticeship programs.
- Proven ability to develop and implement training programs and curricula.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences remotely.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and partnership development.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and virtual collaboration tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
