Our client, a highly respected investment firm specializing in commercial real estate, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Commercial Real Estate Analyst to join their fully remote acquisitions team. This critical role involves conducting in-depth market research, financial analysis, and due diligence for potential real estate investments across various property types. The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative background, excellent modeling skills, and a deep understanding of commercial real estate markets and investment strategies.

- Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling, pro forma underwriting, and sensitivity analysis for potential acquisitions.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify investment trends, competitive landscapes, and demographic data.
- Evaluate investment opportunities across various asset classes (office, retail, industrial, multifamily).
- Prepare detailed investment memos, presentations, and reports for senior management and investment committees.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including reviewing leases, operating statements, appraisals, and environmental reports.
- Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify opportunities for value enhancement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, appraisers, lenders, and other industry professionals.
- Stay informed about economic conditions and real estate market trends impacting investment strategies.
- Assist in the negotiation and structuring of real estate transactions.
- Effectively communicate analysis and recommendations in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate analysis, acquisitions, or investment banking.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Excel, including complex DCF, LBO, and NPV analysis.
- Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and investment metrics (IRR, ROI, Cap Rate).
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with real estate databases and market research tools (e.g., CoStar, REIS).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
