Our client, a highly respected and dynamic real estate investment firm, is seeking a sharp and driven Remote Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions Analyst to join their expanding team. This is a fully remote position, offering unparalleled flexibility for talented professionals to contribute to significant investment activities across the nation. You will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and executing new real estate acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of commercial real estate markets.

- Source and underwrite potential commercial real estate investment opportunities, including office, retail, industrial, and multifamily properties.
- Conduct thorough market research and due diligence on target markets and specific assets.
- Perform detailed financial modeling, including cash flow projections, valuation analysis (DCF, comparable sales, replacement cost), and sensitivity analysis.
- Prepare investment committee memos and presentations, clearly articulating deal rationale, risks, and returns.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with sellers and brokers.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., legal, property management, lenders) throughout the acquisition process.
- Monitor existing investments and market trends.
- Assist in the development of acquisition strategies and criteria.
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and other industry professionals.
- Stay abreast of changes in real estate law, finance, and market conditions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investment analysis, or corporate finance with a real estate focus.
- Proficiency in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel, including complex pro forma statements and valuation techniques.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals, including lease structures, property types, and market dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Experience with real estate market data providers (e.g., CoStar, Reis) is desirable.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
