Senior Account Executive - SaaS Sales (Remote)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a high-achieving Senior Account Executive to drive revenue growth for their cutting-edge Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. This fully remote role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in closing complex deals within the technology sector. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing, focusing on mid-market and enterprise accounts. Leveraging your exceptional sales acumen and deep understanding of SaaS solutions, you will build strong client relationships and exceed ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect for new business opportunities within assigned territories and target industries.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Manage the entire sales process, including needs assessment, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business needs and demonstrating the value of our SaaS solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to ensure a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineers and Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless onboarding and post-sale satisfaction.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and product knowledge.
  • Accurately forecast sales opportunities and manage CRM data effectively.
  • Present compelling value propositions to C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Attend virtual industry events and networking opportunities to expand reach.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in enterprise SaaS sales or technology sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated success in closing mid-market and enterprise-level deals.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, value-based selling, and solution selling methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and cloud computing concepts.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and fully remote work environment.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
  • A proactive approach to prospecting and pipeline management.
  • Experience selling into specific industries relevant to our platform is a plus.
