Key responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and processing diverse agricultural data sources, developing and validating machine learning models for yield prediction, disease detection, and resource optimization. You will also collaborate with agronomists and domain experts to interpret results and translate complex data findings into practical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, statistics, and programming (e.g., Python, R), with specific experience or a deep interest in agriculture. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills are crucial for presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
