Senior Data Scientist (Remote)

This is a fully remote opportunity. Our client, a dynamic and innovative leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join their rapidly growing analytics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from large, complex datasets, driving strategic decision-making across the organization. You will play a crucial role in developing predictive models, designing A/B tests, and building data-driven products that enhance customer understanding, optimize supply chains, and improve marketing effectiveness. Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to identify key business challenges and translate them into data science problems. You will design and implement robust data analysis pipelines, perform exploratory data analysis, and communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires a strong understanding of various modeling techniques, including regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and SQL. Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, coupled with at least five years of professional experience in data science. A proven ability to deliver impactful data science solutions in a fast-paced environment is essential.
