Our client, a pioneer in aerospace innovation, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Systems Integration Specialist for a fully remote, permanent position. This role is critical to the seamless integration of complex avionic systems into next-generation aircraft. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all onboard systems communicate effectively and function harmoniously, meeting stringent performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical understanding of aviation systems, including flight controls, navigation, communication, and power management, coupled with significant experience in systems engineering and integration. Your responsibilities will encompass developing detailed integration plans, defining system interfaces, conducting virtual integration testing and analysis, and troubleshooting complex issues that arise during development and testing phases. You will work collaboratively with design engineers, software developers, and hardware specialists across various disciplines to resolve interoperability challenges. This remote-first position requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to work autonomously, and strong communication capabilities to maintain effective collaboration with distributed teams. Proficiency in systems modeling tools (e.g., SysML, DOORS) and a thorough understanding of aviation standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254) are essential.
