Our client, a rapidly growing global e-commerce company, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Remote Supply Chain Optimization Manager to drive efficiency and cost savings across their entire logistics network. This position is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere while impacting a critical aspect of our business. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and developing strategic solutions to improve inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and overall distribution processes. Your expertise will be crucial in leveraging advanced analytics, modeling, and simulation techniques to forecast demand, optimize network design, and implement best practices that enhance speed, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction. This role requires a deep understanding of global supply chain operations, warehouse management systems, and transportation logistics, coupled with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Analyze end-to-end supply chain operations to identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve lead times, and enhance service levels within the supply chain.
- Utilize data analytics, modeling, and simulation tools to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve network design.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, sales) and external partners (carriers, 3PLs) to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices in supply chain management.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance and identify trends.
- Manage and negotiate with logistics providers and suppliers to secure favorable terms and services.
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving warehouse efficiency, transportation routes, and inventory accuracy.
- Stay current with industry trends and innovations in logistics and supply chain management.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on supply chain initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Proven track record of successfully optimizing supply chain processes and achieving significant cost savings.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, modeling, and simulation software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, specialized SCM tools).
- Deep understanding of inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and network design principles.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to executive leadership.
