Our client, a global leader in supply chain solutions, is looking for an experienced and data-driven Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join their fully remote team. This role is critical in enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of our client's extensive logistics and warehousing operations. As a remote-first professional, you will leverage advanced analytics and strategic planning to identify opportunities for improvement across the entire supply chain network, impacting operations nationwide.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze current supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize inventory management, transportation, and warehousing processes.
- Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and improve delivery times.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, sales) and external partners (carriers, vendors) to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
- Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and best practices to enhance supply chain visibility and agility.
- Manage cross-functional projects aimed at improving supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular performance updates and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations.
- Proven track record of successfully optimizing complex supply chains and achieving significant cost savings.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in data analysis, modeling, and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, specialized SCM software).
- Demonstrated experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
