Our client, a global leader in e-commerce logistics and fulfillment, is seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote operations team. As a remote Senior Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and service level enhancement. Your day-to-day activities will involve developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs), creating detailed reports and dashboards, and conducting in-depth analyses of inventory levels, transportation costs, and fulfillment operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, planning, and procurement, in a virtual environment to implement strategic initiatives. Excellent data visualization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly are essential for success. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in areas such as inventory, transportation, and warehousing.
- Develop, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain effectiveness.
- Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts in collaboration with sales and operations teams.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance service levels with carrying costs.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to logistics and transportation strategies.
- Collaborate remotely with internal teams and external partners to implement supply chain solutions.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging supply chain technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team setting.
- Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
