Remote Senior Supply Chain Analyst - Global Logistics

Our client, a dynamic leader in global e-commerce fulfillment and logistics, is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote team. This position is critical in optimizing our vast international supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods worldwide. You will be instrumental in identifying trends, developing strategies, and implementing solutions that enhance our logistical network's performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex global supply chain data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Collaborate with international logistics partners, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to forecast demand, optimize stock levels, and improve delivery times.
  • Design and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboards to monitor supply chain performance and report on key metrics.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain improvements and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage and resolve escalated supply chain issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party logistics providers.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management and logistics technology.
  • Train and mentor junior analysts on best practices and analytical techniques.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our supply chain processes and systems.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations management.
  • Proven expertise in global logistics, transportation management, and inventory optimization.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Experience with supply chain planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM Cloud, Blue Yonder).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate remotely with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in e-commerce or retail logistics is highly desirable.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and experience in mentoring others.
