Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst (Remote)

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote team. This role is integral to optimizing the company's supply chain operations, identifying efficiencies, and reducing costs. You will work with vast datasets to model, analyze, and improve various aspects of our logistics network, from inventory management to transportation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in efficiency and cost savings.
• Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead times, inventory turnover, and transportation costs.
• Modeling and simulating different supply chain scenarios to evaluate potential changes and their impact.
• Collaborating with internal teams (procurement, operations, sales) and external partners (carriers, suppliers) to implement supply chain improvements.
• Assisting in the development and execution of inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Evaluating transportation routes, modes, and carriers to identify cost-effective and efficient solutions.
• Researching and recommending new technologies or methodologies to enhance supply chain performance.
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity for all supply chain analyses.
• Supporting the implementation of new supply chain systems or software.
• Preparing regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance and recommendations for management.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or in a similar analytical role is essential. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially Python or R is required. Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems) is a significant advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are paramount. You must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a remote team and external stakeholders.
