Our client, a global leader in e-commerce fulfillment, is seeking a talented and analytical Remote Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst. This position is integral to optimizing our client's supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. You will leverage data analysis to identify bottlenecks, forecast demand, and recommend strategic improvements. This is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, provided you have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace.

- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the supply chain.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for management on supply chain performance and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, sales) and external partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Optimize inventory levels and distribution strategies to minimize costs and maximize service levels.
- Forecast demand and supply needs, working closely with planning teams.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Support the development and implementation of new supply chain strategies and projects.
- Monitor carrier performance and negotiate rates when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve supply chain disruptions proactively.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and BI software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Supply Chain Management (SCM) software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and forecasting techniques.
- Familiarity with global logistics and transportation modes is a plus.
