Senior Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join their growing operations team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US, with a primary focus on optimizing the company's distribution networks and supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of logistics management, inventory control, and supply chain optimization techniques. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending strategic improvements to enhance speed, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics and supply chain operations, tracking freight costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. You will work closely with carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods. This role involves forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and optimizing warehouse operations. You will also play a key role in implementing new logistics technologies and processes to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain. A significant part of this role will involve data modeling and simulation to evaluate different supply chain scenarios and their potential impact.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP) are a plus. A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain analysis, or operations management is required, with a proven track record of driving measurable improvements. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python), and experience with supply chain planning software are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with a geographically dispersed team.
