Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst - Network Optimization

Our client, a global leader in supply chain management, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst to join their dynamic operations team. This role is integral to optimizing our client's extensive logistics network, driving efficiency, and reducing costs across all operational facets. You will be instrumental in analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing strategic recommendations to enhance supply chain performance. Key responsibilities include analyzing transportation costs, transit times, and carrier performance; evaluating warehouse operations and inventory management strategies; and modeling various supply chain scenarios to identify optimal solutions. You will leverage advanced analytical tools and software to track key performance indicators (KPIs), generate comprehensive reports, and present findings and recommendations to senior management. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for identifying areas for improvement and innovation within the logistics landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Proven experience with supply chain analytics, modeling, and optimization techniques is essential. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to convey complex analytical findings clearly and concisely.
