Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Lead Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote purchasing department. This role is critical in optimizing our global supply chain operations, driving efficiency, and reducing costs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supply chain management, procurement strategies, and data analysis. You will be responsible for analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights to improve inventory management, logistics, and supplier performance. This is a remote-first position, requiring a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of goods and services. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining supply chain models, forecasting demand, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommending process improvements. You will also be involved in strategic sourcing initiatives, contract negotiations, and risk assessment within the supply chain. The ability to translate data into strategic recommendations and present findings to senior management is essential. Experience with ERP systems and supply chain planning software is highly desirable.
