Supply Chain Analyst - Remote
Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join their expanding operations team. This is a critical fully remote position focused on optimizing our client's global logistics and warehousing network. You will play a key role in analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying inefficiencies, and developing strategies to improve inventory management, transportation, and overall operational performance. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain principles and advanced analytical skills, allowing you to translate data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting cost-benefit analyses for various supply chain initiatives, and forecasting demand to ensure optimal stock levels. You will collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, operations, and sales, as well as external partners such as carriers and suppliers, to streamline processes and resolve logistical challenges. Developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to visualize supply chain performance will be a core part of your work. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using supply chain management software and advanced analytics tools, such as SQL, Python, or R, for data manipulation and modeling.
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field is required. A Master's degree is a plus. A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or operations is necessary. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong critical thinking skills, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. This is a remote-first opportunity, providing the flexibility to work from your preferred location. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency and cost savings within our client's supply chain operations. The role is associated with Charlotte, North Carolina, US , but the work is performed entirely remotely.
