Senior Remote Sales Development Manager

Our client, a rapidly expanding technology firm, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Remote Sales Development Manager to lead their high-performing sales development team. This is a fully remote position, requiring exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and a proven ability to drive outbound sales engagement and pipeline generation within a competitive market. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), refining outreach strategies, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring the achievement of ambitious sales targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, a deep understanding of sales development best practices, and a passion for building and scaling successful remote sales teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and manage a remote team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation goals.
  • Develop and implement effective outbound prospecting strategies, including email campaigns, social selling, and cold calling techniques.
  • Refine SDR playbooks, talk tracks, and messaging to ensure consistent and compelling communication with prospective clients.
  • Utilize CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft) to track performance, manage leads, and forecast pipeline.
  • Analyze SDR performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement training and development plans.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Executive team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and alignment on sales strategies.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new SDRs, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in sales development.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Contribute to the overall sales strategy and provide insights to improve lead qualification and conversion rates.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a Sales Development or related role, and 2+ years in a leadership or management capacity.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-performing remote sales development teams.
  • Deep understanding of outbound prospecting methodologies, sales tools (CRM, sales engagement platforms), and lead qualification frameworks.
  • Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
