Senior Sales Development Manager (Remote)

Our client, a rapidly growing SaaS company, is seeking an exceptional Senior Sales Development Manager to build and lead a high-performing remote sales development team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the US. As a leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to generate qualified sales opportunities for our enterprise sales team. Your primary focus will be on coaching, mentoring, and enabling a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to achieve and exceed their targets. This includes defining outbound sales cadences, optimizing prospecting efforts, implementing effective qualification methodologies, and leveraging sales engagement tools. You will collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership to align on target accounts, messaging, and campaign initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the B2B sales development landscape, a proven track record of building and scaling successful SDR teams, and exceptional leadership and coaching skills. You should be comfortable analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven strategies. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is passionate about developing talent and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of remote Sales Development Representatives (SDRs).
  • Develop and refine outbound prospecting strategies and sales playbooks.
  • Set performance expectations and monitor KPIs for the SDR team.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to define Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and target account lists.
  • Implement and optimize sales engagement tools and technologies.
  • Analyze sales development performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
  • Contribute to overall sales strategy and revenue growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales development or a related sales leadership role.
  • 2+ years of experience managing and coaching a sales development team.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and driving pipeline growth.
  • Expertise in sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and prospecting techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
