Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Remote

Our client, a leading national logistics and fulfillment company, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage and oversee warehouse activities from a fully remote setting. This unique role is designed for a seasoned professional who can effectively supervise teams, optimize operational workflows, and ensure the efficient flow of goods within a dynamic warehouse environment, all while working remotely. You will be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, managing inventory accuracy, and driving productivity improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and best practices in logistics. This remote position requires a high degree of self-discipline, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of productivity and safety.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure inventory accuracy within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely and cost-effective outbound and inbound shipments.
• Resolve operational issues and customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall warehouse performance.
• Provide regular performance feedback and conduct employee evaluations.
• Utilize WMS and other relevant software to track inventory, manage orders, and generate reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proven experience in managing warehouse staff and optimizing operational workflows.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage teams in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
• Demonstrated ability to drive productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
