Remote Agricultural Technology Lead

You will lead a team of remote specialists, guiding them in research, development, and deployment of new ag-tech solutions. A significant part of your role will involve collaborating with farmers, researchers, and industry partners to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technology roadmaps. You will develop strategic partnerships and manage vendor relationships to ensure the successful integration of new technologies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of agricultural knowledge and technological expertise, with a proven track record in leading complex projects. You must be adept at analyzing large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive data-informed decision-making. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills, especially within a distributed team environment. Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in agricultural technology, precision farming, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of modern agricultural practices and challenges.
• Proven experience with IoT, AI, data analytics, drone technology, and other ag-tech innovations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing sustainability initiatives in agriculture.
• Familiarity with global agricultural markets and regulatory environments.
