This position is entirely remote, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be instrumental in developing, testing, and deploying cutting-edge technologies designed to enhance agricultural efficiency and sustainability. This includes working with precision agriculture tools, data analytics platforms, IoT sensors, and automated farming systems. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with research and development teams, providing technical support to field operations, and analyzing data generated by various agtech solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of agricultural principles combined with significant technical proficiency in areas such as data science, software applications, and hardware integration specific to agriculture. You will play a key role in evaluating the effectiveness of new technologies, identifying areas for improvement, and troubleshooting any technical issues that arise. This remote-first role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working with a distributed team and potentially engaging with clients and partners online. The ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical agricultural applications is crucial. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Computer Science with an agricultural focus, or a related field is required. A minimum of 4 years of experience in agricultural technology, data analysis, or a related field is essential. Familiarity with GIS software, drone technology, and farm management information systems is highly desirable.
