Remote Truck Driver - Dedicated Route
Job Description
Our client is seeking experienced and reliable Remote Truck Drivers for a dedicated regional route, operating from the **St. Louis, Missouri, US** area. This fully remote position focuses on providing consistent, efficient, and safe transportation of goods. You will be responsible for operating commercial motor vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies, and ensuring timely deliveries and pickups. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, excellent driving record, and the ability to manage their time effectively while on the road. While the role is inherently mobile, coordination and management are handled remotely, allowing for a consistent route and schedule.

- Operate Class A commercial trucks in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all FMCSA regulations.
- Transport goods between distribution centers, customer locations, and other designated points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details using an electronic logging device (ELD).
- Communicate with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, and any issues encountered.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to strict schedules to meet delivery and pickup deadlines.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients at delivery and pickup points.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road driving experience.
- Proven ability to operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT requirements.
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong sense of responsibility and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
