Remote Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automotive

Our client is actively seeking a Remote Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive experience in the automotive industry to join their pioneering manufacturing and production team. This fully remote position allows you to contribute your expertise in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the product lifecycle, from design to final production. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance strategies, defining quality control processes, and leading QA initiatives for automotive components and systems. Key responsibilities include creating and executing test plans, developing automated testing frameworks, performing root cause analysis of quality issues, and recommending corrective actions. You will collaborate closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and project managers to identify potential quality risks early in the development process and ensure robust product validation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949), APQP, PPAP, and FMEA methodologies. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a related technical discipline is required, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance within the automotive sector. Proficiency in quality management software, statistical analysis tools, and defect tracking systems is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively manage quality initiatives and collaborate with remote teams. Experience with various testing equipment and methodologies, as well as a strong grasp of manufacturing processes, is highly valued.
