Lead Blockchain Solutions Architect, Remote

You will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and robust blockchain systems that align with our strategic business objectives. This role demands a deep understanding of various blockchain protocols, smart contract development, consensus mechanisms, and distributed ledger technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design and development of enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Solana, Corda) based on project requirements.
• Design and oversee the implementation of smart contracts, ensuring their security, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop comprehensive technical roadmaps and strategies for blockchain initiatives.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define blockchain requirements and features.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to blockchain development teams.
• Stay current with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
• Assess and mitigate security risks associated with blockchain implementations.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate new blockchain concepts and technologies.
• Document architectural decisions, system designs, and technical specifications clearly and concisely.
• Engage with the broader blockchain community to foster innovation and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure that blockchain solutions are scalable, performant, and interoperable with existing systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in software architecture and development, with a significant focus on blockchain technology.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex blockchain solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of various consensus algorithms, smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity), and distributed ledger technologies.
• Familiarity with different blockchain ecosystems and protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cryptography and security best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and drive projects to successful completion in a remote setting.
• Experience in tokenomics and decentralized finance (DeFi) is a plus.
• Published work or active participation in the blockchain community is highly desirable.
