Job Description
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Benefits Administrator to manage their comprehensive employee benefits programs in St. Louis, Missouri, US . This role is responsible for the effective administration of health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of benefits regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to employees. You will be a vital resource for ensuring employees understand and utilize their benefits effectively.

- Administer all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
- Manage the enrollment, modification, and termination processes for all benefits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits coverage, eligibility, and claims.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA.
- Process benefit-related paperwork accurately and maintain employee benefit records.
- Liaise with benefits providers and brokers to resolve issues and ensure service level agreements are met.
- Assist in the annual open enrollment process, including communication and system updates.
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions to explain benefit options.
- Analyze benefits data to identify trends and recommend improvements to programs.
- Stay current on changes in benefits legislation and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits administration.
- Thorough knowledge of various employee benefits plans (health, retirement, etc.) and relevant regulations (COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA).
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information simply.
- Experience managing relationships with third-party benefits vendors.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with payroll integration for benefits deductions is a plus.
