Senior Industrial Engineer - Remote Operations Specialist

- Design and implement new processes and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Utilize statistical analysis and simulation tools to model process performance and predict outcomes.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and operational staff on process improvement techniques.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workforce utilization and workflow.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor operational performance against targets.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial engineering and operations management.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion within scope and budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement roles.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
- Expertise in statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, R, Python).
- Strong understanding of simulation software and modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
