The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Sports Science, Mathematics, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in sports analytics or a similar data-intensive role. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R is mandatory. Experience with sports-specific data platforms and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable. A deep understanding of various sports, their rules, and common performance metrics is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to effectively convey insights to diverse audiences.
