Lead Technical Project Manager (Remote)

Our client, a global leader in cloud-based enterprise solutions, is seeking an exceptional Lead Technical Project Manager to join their fully remote team. This is a critical role responsible for spearheading complex software development projects from conception through to successful delivery. As a Lead Technical Project Manager, you will orchestrate all aspects of project management, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication. You will lead and mentor a team of project managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to agile methodologies. The ideal candidate possesses a deep technical background in software development, coupled with extensive experience in managing large-scale, high-impact projects. You must be adept at navigating complex technical challenges, fostering collaboration in a virtual environment, and driving projects to completion on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance remote work environment.
• Implement and oversee agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Facilitate project meetings, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee budget adherence and manage project financials effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technical project management, with a strong emphasis on software development.
• Demonstrated experience leading remote teams and managing complex, multi-phase projects.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification preferred).
• Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and project risks effectively.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
