Remote Lead Product Manager, AI/ML Platform

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Product Manager to spearhead the development of their AI/ML Platform, operating in a fully remote capacity. This strategic role involves defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our cutting-edge AI and machine learning infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, data science, and research teams to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly tools and services that empower internal teams and external partners to leverage AI/ML capabilities effectively.
Key responsibilities include conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify opportunities and unmet needs within the AI/ML space. You will translate these insights into detailed product requirements, user stories, and prioritization frameworks. The Lead Product Manager will own the product backlog, manage the product lifecycle, and ensure successful product launches and adoption. This role requires a strong technical understanding of AI/ML concepts, platforms, and tooling, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be responsible for evangelizing the platform internally and externally, fostering a community of practice around AI/ML.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of launching and scaling successful AI/ML products or platforms. Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google AI Platform) and familiarity with MLOps principles and best practices are highly valued. You should be adept at working with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences is paramount.
