Lead Electrical Engineer (Remote)
Job Description
Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead critical projects within their technology division. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a self-motivated engineer who thrives in a virtual, collaborative environment. The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex electrical systems and components. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to lead engineering teams.

- Lead the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components from concept to production.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, schematics, and documentation for electrical hardware.
- Oversee and conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to achieve project objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues.
- Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for electrical engineering tasks.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to stakeholders.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on hardware design and development.
- Proven experience in leading engineering projects and teams.
- Expertise in circuit design, power electronics, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency with ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, PADS) and simulation software.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
