Lead Electrical Engineer (Remote)

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to spearhead critical projects within their technology division. This is a fully remote position, ideal for a self-motivated engineer who thrives in a virtual, collaborative environment. The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of complex electrical systems and components. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems, circuits, and components from concept to production.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, schematics, and documentation for electrical hardware.
• Oversee and conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers, to achieve project objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electrical engineering technologies and methodologies.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables for electrical engineering tasks.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on hardware design and development.
• Proven experience in leading engineering projects and teams.
• Expertise in circuit design, power electronics, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, PADS) and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
