Our client is seeking a visionary and results-driven Remote General Manager to lead and shape the strategic direction of their technology division. This is a fully remote executive leadership position, ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in an autonomous work environment. The General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, growth, and profitability of the technology business unit, driving innovation and operational excellence.

The General Manager will develop and execute comprehensive business strategies, setting ambitious goals and objectives for the division. This includes overseeing product development, market penetration, sales, marketing, and customer support functions. You will be responsible for managing the division's P&L, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded through effective resource allocation and cost management. Building and leading high-performing, remote-first teams will be a critical aspect of this role, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include identifying new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technological advancements. You will represent the division to senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders, communicating the vision, progress, and challenges. The General Manager will also be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust operational processes and governance frameworks that support scalable growth. You must possess exceptional leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams across different geographical locations.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the technology sector, with extensive experience in general management or P&L responsibility. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred. Demonstrable experience in scaling technology businesses, launching new products, and navigating complex market dynamics is essential. Exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, and strong negotiation skills are a must. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are critical for effective remote leadership and stakeholder management.
