Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding tech company, is seeking a visionary Director of Product Management to lead their product strategy and execution. This is a fully remote leadership opportunity, ideal for an experienced product executive passionate about building innovative solutions and driving market growth. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. You will lead and mentor a team of talented product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, defining product requirements, prioritizing the product backlog, and working closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and adoption. This role demands exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Defining and executing the company's product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of high-performing product managers.
  • Conducting thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities.
  • Translating market needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
  • Prioritizing the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, and strategic alignment.
  • Collaborating closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Overseeing product launches, ensuring successful go-to-market strategies and cross-functional readiness.
  • Monitoring product performance, analyzing key metrics, and iterating on products to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Representing the product vision to internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Fostering a data-driven culture and making informed decisions based on user feedback and market insights.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus. A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role managing product teams, is required. Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex software products is essential. Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and product management best practices is a must. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are critical. Experience in the (mention a relevant industry, e.g., SaaS, FinTech, E-commerce) sector is highly desirable.
