Director of Product Management - Remote First
Job Description
Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Management to lead their product strategy and execution. This is a fully remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States. You will be instrumental in defining the future of our innovative product suite, driving market success, and delighting our customers. As the Director of Product Management, you will own the product roadmap, from ideation through launch and iteration, working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.

- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy, aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
- Define and prioritize product roadmap based on customer needs, market analysis, and business objectives.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and product specifications.
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify new product opportunities and validate existing ones.
- Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Develop and manage product launch plans, including go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales.
- Define and track key product metrics, analyze performance, and iterate on products to drive user engagement and business growth.
- Act as a thought leader and evangelist for the product, both internally and externally.
- Manage the product lifecycle, from conception to end-of-life.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of launching successful software products.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring product management teams.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategy in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Deep understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design thinking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with SaaS products and B2B markets is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience working in a remote-first culture is a significant advantage.
