Remote Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer
Job Description
Our client is seeking an innovative and results-oriented Remote Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across their production facilities. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise without geographical constraints. You will be instrumental in analyzing existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth process analyses, developing and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives, optimizing production workflows, and utilizing data analytics to monitor performance and identify trends. Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies (Green or Black Belt preferred), and Kaizen events is highly desirable. You will collaborate with on-site teams, engineering departments, and management to champion continuous improvement efforts. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential to effectively convey findings and recommendations to diverse audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, material science, and automation technologies. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing engineering, or a similar role is expected. You must be adept at using process simulation software and data analysis tools.
