Our client, a leader in innovative manufacturing solutions, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their pioneering team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the US. You will play a crucial role in optimizing and streamlining production processes, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. This role requires a deep understanding of modern manufacturing techniques, automation, and process improvement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Lead projects focused on the integration of automation, robotics, and other Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure seamless product introduction and scaling.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new manufacturing technologies and processes.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and propose innovative solutions.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for production staff on new processes and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships for equipment and technology providers.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, process engineering, or a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in automation, robotics, PLC programming, and SCADA systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and simulation tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Experience with (specific manufacturing technology, e.g., additive manufacturing, CNC machining) is a significant advantage.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup conducive to remote work.
